Darius Connelly

Greetings! My name is Darius Connelly, and I am a software developer with a background in Front-end development and some Back-end development. I have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University. As a software developer, I possess an understanding of programming languages, algorithms, and software development principles, as well as softwareengineering concepts, database management, and system architecture.

With several years of experience in the software development industry, I continue to hone my skills in various programming languages such as C++, C#, and SQL. I am capable of leveraging frameworks and libraries to build scalable applications. I'm also experienced in working with web technologies, including HTML and CSS, and have a decent understanding of front-end development.

During my professional software development/IT career, I've worked as an IT Assistant at Lake Medical Imaging and a Software Developer at CentralSquare Technologies before becoming a Business Application Developer at Southwest Florida Water Management District. Throughout these different developer opportunities, I've been able to identify different way to develop the front-end of applications as well as other languages to develop applications as well, such as Genero and Appian. During my time as an IT assistant, I developed ways to re-image computers as well as manage Active Directory. Outside of that, I'm also currently a part-time Control Room Operator for Lake County Sheriff's Office.

Throughout my career, I have contributed to the development of several software projects. I have a proven ability to analyze complex problems, designing efficient solutions, and implement them with precision at a high level. Attention to detail, critical thinking abilities, and strong problem-solving skills enable me to deliver high-quality software solutions within specified timelines.

More importantly, I am a proactive and quick learner, and am seeking out opportunities to expand my knowledge and enhance my skills, ensuring that I remains on top of software development practices.
